Challenge
A landmark venue had to serve supporters, tourists and event planners without reducing its story to a list of facilities.
Museum and stadium tour visitors needed a more direct route from research to booking, especially on mobile. Corporate and private event audiences needed specifications, practical venue information and a visible enquiry path. At the same time, the site had to carry the atmosphere and heritage associated with Thomond Park, while remaining straightforward for the team updating matchday, tour and event content.
Solution
Distinct visitor routes sit within one venue platform, supported by stronger content and a real sense of place.
The website combines a mobile focused structure, video led headers, richer event content and a more direct booking route for museum and stadium tours. Venue information is easier to scan, commercial enquiry journeys are more visible and heritage content has space to breathe. Together, those elements let Thomond Park communicate tours, events, matchday updates and its wider story without asking visitors to interpret one crowded navigation path.
Process
Fans, tour guests, event organisers and international visitors were treated as separate audiences from the outset.
We mapped each audience's main questions, then shaped navigation, page hierarchy and calls to action around those tasks. The technical work included caching, GZIP compression, minified assets, dynamic event display sections and content tools for matchday updates. Accessibility considerations were carried through the responsive interface, helping the venue serve a broad audience while keeping routine content management practical.

“We recently worked with Dave and his team for a full website re-design. The end result is fantastic: professional, clean, and exactly what we needed to move the business forward.”

Programming something the public needs to find?
Seasonal programmes need a structure that survives the next programme. That is a content model question before it is a design one.
