Branding in IrelandAn identity that fits the company you run now.

Most rebrands here start the same way: the company has changed and the identity has not. We agree what you want to be known for, then build the visual and verbal system around it. That includes the harder part, which is deciding what you are going to stop claiming about yourselves.

Common questions

The things people ask before they call.

Is this just a new logo?

No. Most of the work is positioning: deciding what you want to be known for and how you explain it. The visual identity follows from that. If a logo on its own is genuinely all you need, a smaller studio will do it for less.

How much does a rebrand cost?

It depends on how much of the identity is actually changing. Refining marks, type and colour that mostly work sits well below a full programme with positioning, identity, guidelines and rollout. I can give you a firm number after one conversation, once it is clear which of those two this is.

How long does it take?

Usually 8 to 14 weeks, with roughly a third of that spent on research and positioning before any design work starts.

Will our existing customers be confused?

Not if the rollout is planned. That usually means carrying something recognisable across from the old identity and being explicit with customers about what has changed and why.

What do we get at the end?

A written positioning document, a visual identity, guidelines, and templates for the things you produce most often. All in editable formats, and all yours.

Not sure this is the right service?

Describe the situation and I will tell you whether this is the right piece of work, whether something smaller would do, or whether it is too early.
