- Challenge
- Convenience mattered, but it could not come at the expense of the seriousness and transparency expected in prescription support.
Before taking action, users needed reassurance that the service was legitimate, secure and practical. Subscription pricing, prescription transfer and setup all had to be explained in an understandable sequence, with enough detail to support a decision but without a discount-retail tone. The language and interface also had to respect the regulated nature of the service and avoid promises beyond what the digital experience could deliver.
- Solution
- Pricing and onboarding were brought forward within a calm visual system that supports evaluation before action.
A clean clinical palette, approachable typography and disciplined hierarchy balance medical credibility with modern convenience. The Price List became a primary decision point, supported by more direct subscription language and a clearer sequence for prescription transfer and setup. Calls to action remain visible, but the experience gives context before asking for commitment and keeps the tone factual throughout sensitive healthcare decisions.
- Process
- Trust signals and user questions shaped the wireframes before ecommerce patterns were introduced.
We reviewed competitor positioning and mapped how confidence develops across pricing, eligibility, transfer and checkout. Regulatory and onboarding requirements were translated into a clearer sequence, then tested against the expectations of users with different levels of familiarity. Development planning considered secure data handling, load performance and the reassurance needed during subscription steps, keeping technical decisions tied to the service's healthcare context.
What was made.

“[Dave Curtin] translated our complex business model into a simple, elegant digital experience. The new brand helps establish the trust we need to operate in healthcare, and the website makes onboarding patients more efficient.”
Planning a patient-facing site?
If people need to find a service, understand it, and act on it, the structure matters more than the styling. That is where this usually starts.
