Starting condition
Direct ordering had to feel as immediate as a marketplace app while giving each restaurant location enough local relevance.
Customers were already comfortable searching, comparing and ordering through large delivery platforms. Lana Thai needed an owned route that could match that sense of convenience, bring menus and location information together and preserve more of the direct customer relationship. It also had to support repeat users and first time local searches without making either audience navigate a heavy brand experience before reaching practical information.

The decisions
The thinking, as it was published.
Brand architecture, interface design, local SEO and custom development were organised around the decisions people make before ordering. Relevant location pages connect search intent with nearby restaurants, menu content remains easy to reach and direct ordering routes provide a practical alternative to marketplace journeys. The same structure gives Lana Thai a more consistent way to present the brand as locations and content change.
We mapped local search behaviour and repeat ordering needs before shaping the information hierarchy. Location content and search foundations helped nearby customers reach the most relevant restaurant, while menus and calls to action kept the route to ordering direct. The underlying content model also gave Lana Thai room to support multiple locations and routine updates without rebuilding each restaurant journey as a separate one off page.

Published process
The experience followed the real sequence of a food decision: location, menu, confidence and convenience.
