Challenge
A trusted product range and a genuine family story needed an online structure that gave both room to matter.

Kearney's already had recognition and a clear tradition of home baking, but a simple product list could not communicate the people, ingredients and care behind the range. The site needed to feel welcoming without becoming nostalgic for its own sake, and informative without losing warmth. It also had to help new audiences discover relevant products through search and understand what distinguishes the bakery before making a choice.

Solution
Heritage, ingredients and product information were brought together in a warm but disciplined website system.

Web design, story development, technical SEO and ongoing support were shaped around the bakery's family identity and product range. The content hierarchy gives the people behind the business a visible role, while individual products and baking values remain easy to explore. Classic visual cues and straightforward navigation keep the experience recognisable, useful and manageable rather than turning the story into decorative brand language.

Process
Sensory details were balanced with the structure needed for search, scanning and routine content updates.

Copy, imagery and layout were used to express ingredients, texture, family and care without asking visitors to read a long corporate history. Product relationships and relevant baking terms informed the content structure and technical SEO. This let people move from the wider bakery story into specific products while giving search engines clearer context and keeping future updates practical for the team.

Working with Dave Curtin made the process of designing our website very smooth and enjoyable. Digital technology was not our strongest point and we had always put it on the long finger, but once we started the process with Dave the project ran smoothly and without delay. With baking and food, we are trying to portray the smell, texture, taste and memories our products create, and Dave captured that concept very well. Our website has brought customers into our bakery and given them an insight into our operations.
