Where to start Which of these is closest to your situation?
Choose the closest one to see comparable projects, what that kind of work usually involves and roughly what it costs.
01 The website is out of date The company has changed but the website still describes an earlier version of it, and the strongest material is buried. 02 The brand no longer fits What you sell, or who you sell it to, has changed. The identity was designed for the previous version of the business. 03 People misunderstand what we do The explanation works in a meeting but has never worked on the website, so people leave before they understand the offer. 04 The brand and website disagree The identity and the website give different impressions of the same company, and fixing one without the other rarely holds.

Two audiences We design for you, and for the person on the other end.
Whoever has to use the thing we build is the person the structure gets tested against. Choose your world and that gets specific.

Our process
Five stages. Nothing is designed until the structure is agreed, which is the step most projects skip and later pay for.
01 Discovery
Interviews with you and with the people who sell or deliver day to day. This is also where we look at whatever analytics and enquiry data exists.
02 Structure and strategy
You get a written view of who the site is for, what it needs to say and how it is organised. Nothing gets designed until that is agreed.
03 Design and writing
Pages are designed and written at the same time. You review real pages with real copy rather than mood boards, which makes the feedback far more useful.
04 Build and launch
Development, testing across devices and assistive technology, content migration and launch. Your team gets training before handover, not a PDF afterwards.
05 After launch
A few weeks of monitoring once real traffic arrives, then a short written view of what is worth changing next. Some clients stop here and some carry on monthly.

About the studio
Straight answers Questions people ask before they get in touch.
If the answer you need is not here, describe the situation and you will get a written reply rather than a brochure.
Ask about your project Still weighing it up? The two-minute diagnostic gives an honest read on whether you need a project at all, and the estimator sizes it in weeks. Neither asks for your email.
Take the diagnostic
How much does a website cost in Ireland?
Enough varies between projects that a single figure would be misleading, so we do not publish one. What drives it is the number of pages that need writing, whether the brand needs work before the site can be designed, whether content is migrating from an existing site, and how much you want to be able to change yourself afterwards. The estimator on this site sizes a project in weeks from those answers, and a firm number follows one conversation rather than a form.
How long does a website take?
Most projects here run between six and twelve weeks from first conversation to launch. The variable is rarely design time. It is how quickly decisions get made on your side and how much content already exists. A project where the copy has to be written from scratch takes longer than one where it needs editing, and that is worth knowing before you set a launch date.
Do I need a rebrand, or just a new website?
Often just the website, and it is worth resisting the upsell. A rebrand is warranted when the identity actively contradicts what the company now does or who it now sells to. If the logo is simply dated but not wrong, a website that is clear and current usually solves the problem you actually have. The diagnostic on this site is built to tell the two situations apart.
Who actually does the work?
Dave Curtin, from the first conversation to launch. There is no account manager between you and the person designing, and no handover to a junior team once the project is signed. That is the main practical difference between a one-person studio and an agency, and it cuts both ways: you get direct access and continuity, and the studio takes on fewer projects at a time.
Will I be able to update the site myself?
Yes, and your team is trained before handover rather than sent a PDF afterwards. What you can change is agreed during the build, because that decision shapes how the site is built. A site where every page is freely editable is a different piece of work from one where the structure is fixed and the content is not.
Do you work with companies outside Limerick?
Most of the work is with organisations elsewhere in Ireland, and some outside it. The studio is in Limerick and meetings happen in person when they justify the travel, which is usually at the start. Everything after that works over a call and a shared link, and it has not been the limiting factor on any project.
What if we already have a developer, or a half-finished site?
That is common and it is not a problem. Sometimes the useful piece of work is strategy and design that your developer builds, and sometimes it is fixing the structure of a site that already exists rather than replacing it. Describe what is already in place and the reply will say which of those it looks like, including when the honest answer is that you do not need a new project at all.
Useful thinking Decisions before decoration.
